The Circle

Getting shot and waking up in another reality
Which one is real? It’s dark and has no color.
Bats swoop down, tearing away at my skin. Elyon’s
water heals my wounds. I awake in a colored forest.
They are brought together by the Great Romance.
Their leader saved my life, his name is Tanis.

How did I get here? Where is this beautiful place? Tanis
shows me around. Convincing me this is reality.
I meet a woman named Rachelle. They say that the Great Romance
has brought us both together. This palace has so much color.
I lie down and fall asleep. No longer in the colored forest.
My head has a wound. They say that it cured me. Water of Elyon.

I start to believe that this reality is not real. But Elyon
convinces me otherwise. I wake up again and all I see is Tanis
standing on the edge of the bridge to the black forest.
Teeleh takes him and the blackness spreads. This reality,
I know now is real. The black takes over the beautiful color
of the colored forest. Only one thing remains, the Great Romance.

Me, Rachelle and Johan take cover in a hut. The Great Romance
is fading away from us. Up on the hill, saving us, we see Elyon.
I look over and see that Rachelle's skin is grey. The color
in her face is gone. With Teeleh killing Tanis
everything that had color is now dead. I must save this reality.
Now the colored forest, has turned into the black forest.

We are guided through the desert to a southern forest.
It was like the forest back home. The Great Romance
holds us together. I fell asleep again, waking in the other reality.
Once again, he has saved us. There is a lake. Elyon
says that we must bath everyday or the disease will come. Tanis's
death has impacted us all. We still miss the colored forest color.

After bathing our skin has returned to its normal peachy color.
We start to construct our home here, its not to bad in this forest.
Ten years pass, an army lead by Qurong who was once Tanis,
but has been taken by the disease. They don't have the Great Romance.
They raid our southern forest and we realize that Elyon
is our friend Justin. Murdered in the lake, no more healing in reality.

The new Tanis, his skin is an awful color.
In this reality we drown ourselves, and flee from the forest.
'Cause of the Great Romance we have formed the Circle, Thank Elyon.
